Read full story →Russiaventura crafts raw, cinematic expeditions across the largest country on Earth — from the blue ice of Lake Baikal to live Kamchatka volcanoes, Arctic tundra and the legendary Trans-Siberian. No tourist buses. No clichés. Only real adventure.
Born in Moscow in 2007 by two geographers and a rescue instructor, Russiaventura started with one UAZ van and a dream: show the real Russia — wild, huge, honest. Today we run 47 routes in 11 time zones with local Evenk, Buryat, Chukchi and Cossack teams.
Why 12,000 travelers chose us: we keep groups to 6–10 people, employ professional wilderness guides, satellite comms, and chefs who can cook borscht at -30°C. We pay fair wages to indigenous communities and leave no trace — 5% of profit funds Baikal cleanup and Amur tiger protection.
“Russiaventura rewired my idea of travel. Baikal at sunrise cracked like glass under our feet. I cried.” — Sarah M., Iceland traverse 2025
